Other Comments or Information: I enjoyed my career especially with all the camaraderie and the “time to work and time to play” philosophy. Newport was a busy party town at the start of my career and it slowed down over the years. Even with some questionable supervisors, if you had a group of good guys, you could do some good work and have fun. Political correctness and the 12 hour shifts changed many things. Good times, good friends and an interesting city.
